Also known as La Roja meaning The Red One or La Furia Roja meaning The Red Fury, this team is currently coached by Vicente del Bosque and led by captain Iker Casillas. Their top scorer is Raul Gonzalez. In the year 2008, their team had the best line-up of players imaginable–Casillas, Ramos, Marchena, Puyol, Capdevila, Senna, Iniesta, Xavi, Silva, Villa, and Torres. They have won for themselves the 2010 FIFA World Cup, which has been celebrated by their fans worldwide.

Netherlands National Football Team.

The Netherlands National Football Team has several names including Clockwork Orange, Holland, Oranje, and The Flying Dutchmen. Winning the second rank of FIFA World Cup, it is no wonder why the team with line-up that includes Jongbloed, Krol, Rijsbergen, Suurbier, Haan, Van Hanegem, Jansen, Neeskens, Cruyff, Rensenbrink, and Rep.

England National Football Team.

The England National Football Team is nicknamed as the Three Lions and is controlled until today by the Football Association. It is one of the oldest teams of the world, having played during the first international football game somewhere in the eighteen hundreds. Led by head coach Fabio Capello, they have ranked as sixth in FIFA’s ranking. With such great players such as Banks, Cohen, J Charlton, Moore, Wilson, Stiles, Ball, B Charlton, Peters, Hurst, and Hunt in their history, it is no wonder why a lot of fans still vote for them as one of the best.

Hungary National Football Team.

This football team from Hungary, controlled by the Hungarian Football Federation, has an amazing history and has won several Olympic games as well as FIFA World Cups. They were nicknamed as The Magical Magyars in the 1950s and have earned for themselves a lot of international fans and critics.

There are lots more football teams out there who could pass as one of the best, but these should be on most lists.
